About this surface
Alpin
Mid slate grey is crossed by thin, bright white veins that zigzag across the slab like lightning. The white lines are sharp and sparse, standing out clearly against the even grey.
Questions
About Alpin
Alpin is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Cimstone describes its product as a quartz-based composite stone with polyester resin, and publishes no quartz percentage.
Our listing shows Alpin in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Our listing shows a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses; Cimstone's website does not state them for this colour, so we confirm the finish and thickness in your quotation. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Alpin costs £301–£400 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
Cimstone publishes no warranty terms on its website, so we do not state one. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
