About this surface
Amaranth
A solid coral pink with a warm salmon tone, even from one end of the slab to the other. Up close the surface shows a very fine grain, but there are no veins or specks to break up the colour.

Amaranth is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Bloomstones states that its slabs are 93 percent quartz and 7 percent polymer resin. It does not name its manufacturer.
