About this surface
Crisp white is cut by dark slate grey veins that zigzag sideways like lightning, some bold and some no more than a hairline. Fainter grey traces sit behind the main lines, giving the layout a sense of depth without crowding it.
Questions
Astonia Grey MQS is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Modern Quartz Stone says its quartz is natural quartz crystals bound with resin. It publishes no percentage and does not name its manufacturer.
Our listing shows Astonia Grey MQS in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. Modern Quartz Stone says its quartz needs no sealing.
Astonia Grey MQS costs £375–£550 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
Modern Quartz Stone offers a warranty of up to 15 years to residential owner-occupiers. It is conditional on buying and installing through an approved fabricator or distributor with a valid invoice, and on installation to its specifications. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
