About this surface
Calacatta Antico HS
Pale grey and soft white pieces fit together like broken stone, held by seams of darker grey with flecks of ochre gold. This breccia style pattern covers the whole slab, so there is plenty of movement but no single dominant vein.
Questions
About Calacatta Antico HS
Calacatta Antico HS is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Horizon Stone is the affordable range sold by Classic Quartz Stone, which states that its slabs are 93 percent quartz and 7 percent resin.
Our listing shows Calacatta Antico HS in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. Horizon Stone says its quartz needs no sealing.
Calacatta Antico HS costs £375–£550 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
Classic Quartz Stone's warranty for the Horizon Stone range is 10 years against slab defects for residential owner-occupiers, with registration. It excludes scratches, fabrication and installation faults, and discontinued colours. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
