About this surface
Oro
Soft white ground crossed by broad, pale grey bands that fork and thin out into fine lines. Hairline touches of gold run along some of the veins, adding warmth without taking over. The pattern flows diagonally and feels open and airy.
Questions
About Oro
Oro is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. International Stones describes IQ as composite quartz, a resin bound mixture of natural quartz mineral with glass or metallic flecks and pigments. It does not publish a quartz percentage, and its product pages give a country of origin (Asia, India or Spain) for each colour.
Our listing shows Oro in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Oro costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
International Stones gives a manufacturer's 15 year warranty on its IQ quartz, with registration required. Its terms are in a separate document. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
No. 2 other surfaces on our site share this name but come from different brands, so the look, finish, thicknesses and price can differ. This one is International Stones (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £450–£700 per m²). The others: Bloomstones (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £375–£550 per m²); Artemistone (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £375–£550 per m²). Check the brand on the product page you are looking at.
