Pure White is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. London Quartz Stone does not say who makes its quartz or what it contains. Its pages describe engineered quartz in six ranges: Calacatta, Carrara, Designer, Pure, Crystal and Mirror.

For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.

It does not cover cracks, heat damage, abnormal use, marks and colour variation, or normal wear and tear.
