About this surface
Sahara Noir MQS
A deep charcoal black ground is crossed by sharp, bright white veins that run in long straight lines and meet at wide angles. Thin threads of gold travel alongside a few of them, adding a warm glint to the cool, dark surface.
Questions
About Sahara Noir MQS
Sahara Noir MQS is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Modern Quartz Stone says its quartz is natural quartz crystals bound with resin. It publishes no percentage and does not name its manufacturer.
Our listing shows Sahara Noir MQS in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. Modern Quartz Stone says its quartz needs no sealing.
Sahara Noir MQS costs £375–£550 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
Modern Quartz Stone offers a warranty of up to 15 years to residential owner-occupiers. It is conditional on buying and installing through an approved fabricator or distributor with a valid invoice, and on installation to its specifications. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
