Technistone Calacatta Volegno is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. Technistone says its slabs are more than 90 percent natural minerals bound with polyester resin and pigment, with glass and mirror fractions in some collections, and it calls the material engineered stone.

For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.

Both require registration within 30 days of installation and installation by a licensed fabricator, and exclude outdoor use and commercial buildings, so we do not state a length until Technistone UK confirms it.
