Argento
Wide, soft veins in a pale warm grey drift down a clean white surface, with hairline dark cracks running alongside them. The broad bands feel blurred at the edges, which keeps the pattern calm while still giving the slab movement and direction.

Argento is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. London Quartz Stone does not say who makes its quartz or what it contains. Its pages describe engineered quartz in six ranges: Calacatta, Carrara, Designer, Pure, Crystal and Mirror.

For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Argento costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
London Quartz Stone offers a 15 year warranty from the date of purchase, as long as its maintenance guidelines are followed. It does not cover cracks, heat damage, abnormal use, marks and colour variation, or normal wear and tear.
