About this surface
Nero Marquina
Deep black fills the slab, cut by sharp white veins that run diagonally from lower left to upper right. Some lines are thick and bright, others thin and broken, and they branch often. The contrast is striking and very graphic.
Questions
About Nero Marquina
Nero Marquina is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. London Quartz Stone does not say who makes its quartz or what it contains. Its pages describe engineered quartz in six ranges: Calacatta, Carrara, Designer, Pure, Crystal and Mirror.
Our listing shows Nero Marquina in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Nero Marquina costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
London Quartz Stone offers a 15 year warranty from the date of purchase, as long as its maintenance guidelines are followed. It does not cover cracks, heat damage, abnormal use, marks and colour variation, or normal wear and tear. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
No. 2 other surfaces on our site share this name but come from different brands, so the look, finish, thicknesses and price can differ. This one is London Quartz Stone (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £450–£700 per m²). The others: Cimstone (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £601–£990 per m²); iStone (polished finish, 20 mm and 30 mm, £375–£550 per m²). Check the brand on the product page you are looking at.
