About this surface
Chic
Broken, angular grey lines outline many small white pieces, like cracked stone pressed back together. Thicker dark grey seams cut through the cluster in places. Between the busy zones, wide areas of white stay quiet and clean.
Questions
About Chic
Chic is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. International Stones describes IQ as composite quartz, a resin bound mixture of natural quartz mineral with glass or metallic flecks and pigments. It does not publish a quartz percentage, and its product pages give a country of origin (Asia, India or Spain) for each colour.
Our listing shows Chic in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Chic costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
International Stones gives a manufacturer's 15 year warranty on its IQ quartz, with registration required. Its terms are in a separate document. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
