About this surface
Dark Grey Crystal
Warm mid grey, closer to taupe than charcoal, covered with small dark flecks and the occasional bright white sparkle. The dark grains are scattered unevenly in tiny clusters, and the glints catch the eye here and there. No veins appear, just a soft speckled field.
Questions
About Dark Grey Crystal
Dark Grey Crystal is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. London Quartz Stone does not say who makes its quartz or what it contains. Its pages describe engineered quartz in six ranges: Calacatta, Carrara, Designer, Pure, Crystal and Mirror.
Our listing shows Dark Grey Crystal in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Dark Grey Crystal costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
London Quartz Stone offers a 15 year warranty from the date of purchase, as long as its maintenance guidelines are followed. It does not cover cracks, heat damage, abnormal use, marks and colour variation, or normal wear and tear. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
