About this surface
Nero Crystal
Very dark navy black filled with fine grain and scattered with tiny blue and white sparkles, like stars across a night sky. The glints are small and spread widely apart. There are no veins, only a dense, deep background that makes each glint stand out.
Questions
About Nero Crystal
Nero Crystal is an engineered quartz surface: crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resin and pigments. It is a manufactured material, not a natural stone. London Quartz Stone does not say who makes its quartz or what it contains. Its pages describe engineered quartz in six ranges: Calacatta, Carrara, Designer, Pure, Crystal and Mirror.
Our listing shows Nero Crystal in a polished finish and 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. Your quotation states the finish and thickness we have priced.
For everyday cleaning use a soft cloth with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, and wipe up spills promptly. Use a chopping board rather than cutting on the surface, a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, and avoid bleach, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Nero Crystal costs £450–£700 per m², supplied, fabricated and installed. Your quotation is itemised and depends on your worktop and location.
London Quartz Stone offers a 15 year warranty from the date of purchase, as long as its maintenance guidelines are followed. It does not cover cracks, heat damage, abnormal use, marks and colour variation, or normal wear and tear. Stoneone's 2-year workmanship guarantee is separate, and we confirm the warranty that applies to your order in writing.
