Pale white grey base filled with coarser chips of clear glass like mirror and dark flecks, scattered closely together. The speckle is much busier than a plain white, giving a sparkly, crushed glass texture.

International Stones describes IQ as composite quartz, a resin bound mixture of natural quartz mineral with glass or metallic flecks and pigments.
