Mr. Kleo's Kitchen
Rosetta by Palmyra Stones · London

The Story
Mr. Kleo's project was different from the start.
When he contacted us at Stoneone, he already had a strong sense of style. He did not want something ultra modern or minimal. He wanted a kitchen with character. Something that felt classic, detailed, and a bit more personal.
When we first saw the space, it had that traditional foundation. Panelled cabinets, warm tones, proper craftsmanship. It just needed the right stone to bring it all together.
We spent time choosing the material carefully.
He went for a white quartz with bold, flowing veins. Not subtle like some projects. This one had movement, warmth, and a bit of drama to it. You could tell straight away this kitchen was going to stand out.
But the real detail that defined this job was the edge.
Mr. Kleo chose an Ogee edge.
That decision changed everything.
It is not the easiest edge to fabricate, and it is definitely not the fastest. It requires patience, precision, and proper finishing. But when it is done right, it gives the worktop a soft, elegant profile that you just cannot get with a simple straight edge.
It suited the kitchen perfectly.
On installation day, we knew this one had to be handled with extra care. The veining had to flow naturally across the surfaces, especially around the corners and the island. Every cut had to be clean. Every joint had to disappear.
And the edges, especially the Ogee, had to be flawless from every angle.
As we fitted the island, it quickly became the centre of attention. The veins ran beautifully across the surface, and the edge detail gave it that classic, almost furniture-like finish.
It did not feel like just a worktop. It felt crafted.
Piece by piece, the kitchen came together.
The sink cut, the corners, the upstands, everything started to align. What was once a busy, unfinished space turned into something calm and complete.
When Mr. Kleo saw it finished, he ran his hand along the edge first.
That is something we always notice. Clients do not always comment on measurements or cuts. They feel the details.
He smiled and said, "This edge makes it."
And he was right.
At Stoneone, we know that sometimes it is the small details that define the whole project. In Mr. Kleo's kitchen, that detail was the Ogee edge, and it made all the difference.
