Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 April 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stoneone website at stoneone.co.uk (the "Site") and your purchase of supply and installation services from Stoneone Ltd ("Stoneone", "we", "us", or "our").

By using the Site or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Our Services

Stoneone provides premium stone worktop supply and installation services to residential and commercial customers across the United Kingdom. Our services include:

  • Quotation and consultation
  • Laser templating (measurement survey)
  • Worktop fabrication
  • Professional installation

3. Quotes and Orders

All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the dimensions and specifications you provide and may be subject to adjustment following templating.

An order is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit payment (typically 50% of the total). We will send written confirmation of your order by email.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. We require a deposit at the time of order confirmation and the balance prior to or on the day of installation.

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, and debit card. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

5. Templating and Installation

A laser templating visit is required for all supply-and-install orders. This visit ensures your worktops are fabricated to exact dimensions. You are responsible for ensuring your kitchen units are fully installed and level prior to the templating visit.

Lead times from templating to installation are typically 3–10 days, subject to material availability and scheduling. We will confirm your installation date in writing.

6. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel your order within 14 days of confirmation (cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), provided fabrication has not yet commenced. Once fabrication has begun, cancellation charges may apply to cover materials and labour already incurred.

Changes to confirmed orders must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and potential price adjustments.

7. Guarantee and Warranty

All installations are covered by our 10-year workmanship guarantee. This covers defects in fabrication and installation but does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, or failure to follow care instructions.

Manufacturer warranties apply separately to specific surface products. Details are provided with your order confirmation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoneone's liability in connection with any services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of profit or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, and product information, is owned by or licensed to Stoneone and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
