Mr. Matt's Kitchen

Mr. Matt's kitchen was all about simplicity done right.

When he first spoke to us at Stoneone, he was clear from the start. He did not want anything too bold or busy. He wanted a space that felt clean, bright, and easy to live in. Something that would still look good years from now without feeling outdated.

When we stepped into the kitchen, you could immediately see the direction. Natural light filling the room, soft neutral tones, and a layout that felt open and relaxed. It already had a great foundation.

It just needed the right surface to bring it all together.

We went with a white quartz with very soft, subtle veining. Nothing overpowering. Just enough detail to give the surface some life while keeping that clean, minimal look.

The island became the centrepiece.

Designed with waterfall sides, it gave the whole kitchen a more solid and refined feel. The stone flows down the sides seamlessly, making it feel like one continuous piece rather than separate elements.

But the real detail in this project was in the function.

We added drainer grooves directly into the quartz. Clean, precise, and practical. It is one of those features that blends into the design but makes everyday use easier.

Installation was all about getting the small things right.

With a light surface like this, every detail shows. The joins had to be invisible, the edges perfectly straight, and the veining aligned naturally. No room for shortcuts.

We took our time, adjusting everything until it felt just right.

As everything came together, the space became exactly what Mr. Matt had imagined. Bright, calm, and effortless.

When he saw it finished, he looked around for a moment and said,

"It just feels right."

And that is exactly what we aim for.
